ioSafe 3.5 Pilot: Internal Hard Drive with Disaster Protection
The ioSafe® 3.5 Pilot product line is the world's first hard drive designed to protect data from natural disasters that can be utilized anywhere a standard 3.5" hard drive is used today. The Pilot product line is the latest design available from ioSafe, a leading provider of disaster proof hardware and disaster recovery services.

The ioSafe 3.5 Pilot line comes with the ioSafe Disaster Recovery Service upon product registration and available throughout the 3-year warranty period. The Disaster Recovery Service provides experts ready to help you 24x7x365 recover from a qualified disaster and includes up to $2,500 payment by ioSafe to a third-party data extraction service plus replacement product if required.
The ioSafe 3.5 Pilot product line uses a standard SATA 1.5Gb/s interface to connect to or integrate in your existing Windows, Macintosh, Unix or Linux systems.
Fire protection is provided by ioSafe's patented FloSafe air cooled technology, proprietary DataCast endothermic insulation and patent-pending MirrorGuard reflective heat enclosure. Together, these technologies provide fire protection to 1,400°F for 15 minutes per the ASTM E119 standard.
Water protection is provided by ioSafe's patented HydroSafe water barrier technology. HydroSafe is designed to protect data loss from fresh or salt water damage, including full immersion at depths up to 5' for 24 hours. HydroSafe technology provides a water barrier around the hard drive while still allowing the heat dissipation required during normal operation.
