BEATS THE HEAT
“Fireproof” barely begins to describe the durability of the Duo. Designed to protect your data up to 1550° F for 30 minutes, you can rest easy knowing your work will still be there after the smoke clears.
BROKEN PIPES HAVE MET THEIR MATCH
When we say our products are waterproof, we really mean it. The Duo will protect your business data even if it’s left underwater for 3 days. Yes, you read that correctly. 3 days.
ALWAYS BE PREPARED
Unfortunately, hard drives can fail. It’s not a matter of if but when. To eliminate this risk, the Duo makes two copies of your data simultaneously on two different drives. This ensures that your work is protected even if one of the hard drives breaks down.
THIS THING REALLY SCREAMS
The Duo uses the modern USB Type-C port (although it also has a traditional USB Type-A port for convenience) as well as the USB 3.2 Gen 2 protocol, which delivers a theoretical and eye-popping 10 Gbps. While the Duo is shipped with our suggested RAID 1 setting, it can always be reconfigured to RAID 0, JBOD, or SPAN. (Although back up your data first, reconfiguring deletes data!)

ABOUT THE DUO
The ioSafe Duo is a fireproof and waterproof external storage device that protects your personal or business data from home or office fires, damaged plumbing, leaking HVAC systems, or the fire department’s hose. The Duo has two hard drives installed, making two copies of your backed up data simultaneously and eliminating the risk of data loss from drive failure. A disaster ready and on-premises solution, the Duo is the most affordable way to recover your business quickly in the wake of a catastrophic event.
Our optional Data Recovery Service, which can be purchased with populated products, offers additional protection for your data. With DRS, we’ll make sure you’re back in business quickly, even employing forensic data recovery if necessary.
